There's also a shower room with wc on this floor, as well as a laundry room and a ski room with a boot dryer. Young guests will also love the TV room on this floor, filled with floor cushions, stools and a huge squishy sofa, where they can do their own thing while the adults relax upstairs.

About the area...
Chalet Eveleen is the Vallée de la Manche area, between Morzine and the Nyon telecabine. It's a quiet area, but the proximity to the telecabine means its well served by the shuttle bus, which will take you into Morzine itself. The telecabine gives you easy access to the Les Gets and Morzine ski areas.
The Lac des Mines area at the end of the valley is a great place for ski touring or snow-shoeing, and in the summer there are beautiful walking trails through the forest. There's also a very popular off-piste ski run which ends here.
The town of Morzine is in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, with 650km of pistes some of which cross the border into Switzerland, so there's plenty of choice for skiers and boarders of all abilities.
If you're not a skier, Morzine also offers indoor and outdoor ice skating rinks, which are often host to ice hockey matches, and the local cinema often shows films in English. The more adventurous might like to try snowmobiling or ice-climbing on some of the area's frozen waterfalls, or discover the area in a more sedate manner on a sleigh ride.
Other ways to have fun include snowshoeing and sledging, while the Indiana adventure park offers a variety of activities for all ages.
In the spring and summer, the lush green slopes around Morzine become a haven for walkers, mountain bikers and thrill-seekers.
The lifts will transport you and your bike up the mountains, leaving you to come back down at your leisure. Take a picnic, and make a day of it! Morzine has earned Famille Plus status for its excellent childcare and entertainment, so it's a great choice for young families. There are superb water parks in the town and in neighbouring Avoriaz, as well as two summer sledge runs, while the Indiana adventure park has a range of assault courses to suit all ages.
Golfers will find excellent courses in Les Gets and Avoriaz. Other activities include climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, mini-golf, quad bikes, fishing and kayaking. You can also take advantage of the Portes du Soleil Multi Pass, offering unrestricted access to the full range of family activities.

We feel so fortunate to have this magical place in our lives
Chalet Eveleen is our family home from home. Our four children enjoy the space and the cosy bedrooms, the cinema room and the open plan living and dining area. We have found the chalet works well for a young family with four of the five bedrooms on one floor and for older kids the cinema room provides a space for relaxing while the adults can use the sitting room on the first floor. We have used the chalet for several couples and that works well too with four bathrooms and plenty of space for skiing kit or bikes in the garage. Plus big tables for eating together both inside and out and enjoying the incredible french produce. For us it doesn’t get much better than sitting front of the open fire on a snowy evening with a glass of St Emillion and a slab of local cheese or a Cote de boeuf straight off the bbq and salad from the local market in the summer.
The chalet is tucked away up vallee de la Manche, just far enough out of Morzine for peace and quite but within easy reach of all the amenities you could need and the extensive Porte de Soleil ski area. Proximity to both nursery slopes further up the valley and the Nyon lift for more advanced skiing within an easy bus ride from almost outside the chalet or a short walk just down the road means there really is something for everybody. Morzine town centre is close enough to walk home from a night out and convenient by bus or car for ski lifts, ice skating, shopping, the excellent supermarket, the amazing cheese shop and Seb’s incredible crepes. There is so much to do both summer and winter for adults and children alike.
The chalet is our sanctuary, a place to escape busy everyday life with views of the mountains, cycling and walking on your doorstep in the summer and numerous skiing options for all abilities in the winter. We love to sit on the decking in the morning sunshine with a coffee watching the Nyon cable car rise above the trees, settle in with a good book in front of a roaring fire, go ice skating in town followed by a hot chocolate in winter, forest walks along the river and swimming in morzine’s open air pool in summer.
We feel so fortunate to have this magical place in our lives, come and experience it for yourself, spend quality time here with family or friends and share our home from home
At the heart of the Portes du Soleil, Europe's largest skiing area, Morzine offers great winter sports and plenty of summer action. Ski, hike or bike into Switzerland, enjoy great lakeside walks, explore mountain villages or just relax in one of the village's many restaurants or bars. With a superb swimming pool complex, adventure park and a choice of spas, there's always something new to explore.
